Self-regulating heating cables that can be cut to size and operate only when necessary? Yes, Dimat SLL self-regulating heating cables offer a reliable, stable, and cost-effective solution for heating outdoor areas such as pipes, channels, and other outdoor units.

The self-regulating heating cable doesn't come equipped with a thermostat because it automatically activates when needed. It can also be installed with a special precipitation sensor, ensuring it turns on only when there's ice, for example, inside gutter systems.

The installation of these self-regulating heating cables is straightforward. The cable creates parallel circuits between the two wires within it, allowing you to cut it anywhere without disrupting its functionality. You can lay the cable in a spiral or straight pattern, depending on your preference.

These outdoor heating cables have negligible energy consumption but can protect your property from severe frost damage effectively.

Where can you use self-regulating heating cables?

  • Around water pipes
  • In gutter systems
  • In irrigation systems
  • For any frost-sensitive pipes, such as those for oil or fire protection, to prevent freezing
  • In industrial and food industry pipelines
  • In rural areas, equestrian facilities, and greenhouses for watering troughs

Additional information:

  • The energy consumption of the heating cable is negligible compared to the total consumption of a family house.
  • Typically, it consumes 10-40 watts per meter and operates only when temperatures drop below freezing. It's essential to note that the device draws half of its power when under voltage and increases its power to the maximum when the temperature falls below 5 degrees Celsius.
  • For thicker pipes, higher power may be required, but it's still a good idea to control it with a thermostat, especially if it needs to turn on at temperatures below -5 degrees Celsius. Our colleagues can help you plan this properly during the consultation.
  • These cables are made from UV-stable materials.
