The HY Profi Heated Sensor – Enclosed Precision Frost Protection is an intelligent, self-heated temperature and moisture sensor designed for outdoor heating systems, optimizing snow and ice removal. Equipped with its own heating element, the sensor provides accurate readings even below freezing temperatures.
Housed in a protective metal enclosure, it is safeguarded against mechanical damage and ensures long-term reliability. The sensor can be connected to either the WiFi Master Outdoor Heating Controller HY527A or the HY527B Outdoor Heating Expansion Controller, allowing precise control of heating zones. Technically, the HY527B functions as a slave controller to the Master, while the sensor ensures frost protection for channels, gutters, and road surfaces in combined systems.
The system activates heating only when the temperature falls below the set threshold and moisture is detected, ensuring energy-efficient and effective operation.
