The heating cable for concrete and sand beds is equipped with a special and very robust insulation/covering and can therefore also be cast into concrete. In this way, for example, parking entrances, stairs, access roads, escape routes or indoor floors such as cold stores/freezers can be protected from ice formation. Ideal for large surfaces where safety is of paramount importance. For example, the heating cable can be installed directly on the welded wire mesh before covering it with concrete, asphalt or a layer of sand.
The cable has a PTFE (Teflon) inner sheath and a PVC outer sheath, making it resistant to chemicals.

To use the heating cable effectively, it is advisable to use an outdoor thermostat and a precipitation sensor, which will automatically melt the heated surfaces from snow and ice, without ending up in the hospital with a broken ankle!
