DIMAT SLL Pipe and duct heating systems
Unlike traditional heating cables, the two wires running inside the DIMAT SLL self-regulating heating cables are arranged in such a way that parallel circuits are formed between the two. Thanks to this, the cable can be cut anywhere without interrupting the
circuit, This solution makes installation very easy.
They can be fixed on the surface to be heated in a straight line, twisted (spiral shape). They can be cut to size, so they can be designed for the necessary needs in any case. The cables can be easily connected to each other with the connection set (set to be ordered separately), thanks to the self-regulating cable there is no need for a separate thermostat control, except for duct heating systems.
The product draws half its power when turned on, but as the air begins to cool down to near freezing point, it increases to maximum power.
If the weather warms up, it automatically reduces the power.
After all, what's the point of heating a dry sewer, if there's no snow or ice, then the solution is a thermostat with a precipitation sensor that can be used for this purpose.
Which only turns on when there is precipitation, and also near freezing point.
Its use increases the monthly utility costs insignificantly.
In order to ensure energy efficiency and automated operation, we recommend its installation in many cases.
Can be used on both metal and plastic pipes.
A power of 10-16 watts/meter is more than enough for water pipes in residential properties.
In this case, the water will not freeze even without pipe insulation.
For thick industrial pipes, as well as outdoor drinkers, higher performance and thermostatic control are advisable, and we design them taking energy consumption into account.
Our products are UV stable and do not need to be removed in the spring.
Powers 16,24,30 Watt/meter
Application areas:
- Cold and hot water pipes
• Gutter systems (gutters, downpipes, fittings, ball valves, etc.)
• Irrigation systems (even in the ground)
• Liquid, oil, firefighting pipelines
• Industrial piping systems (e.g. food industry)
