This insulating patch is used to seal circuits. It can also be used for installing heating foil, also known as heating film, because it is also necessary for the insulating tape to be waterproof. After cutting the heating film to size, the foil is stretched apart at the copper strip running on both sides and the connector is attached to the copper strip. The connector can be attached to the heating film by crimping. The connector is then insulated with insulating tape.
